U.S. History/Government
This course provides a one-year survey of U.S. history from the Colonial Period to the War on Terror, with an emphasis on the twentieth century. Using a combination of videos, engaging lecture, class discussion, group projects and individual research assignments, students learn about the various political, social, religious, and economic developments that have shaped and continue to shape the United States.
*Students will earn 1 U.S. History credit and 0.5 U.S. Government credit. I highly recommend taking this course in conjunction with American Literature.
